Background

Susan Atwood is the Vice President, Strategic Talent Solutions at The Agency Worldwide, where she leads the firm's growth across HR consulting, talent advisory, executive search and startup consulting, with a particular focus on Life Sciences. Her work centers on helping organizations get to the root of their workforce challenges, whether a hard-to-fill role, a retention problem or a gap in leadership, culture or structure, and then solving them. Susan's professional background spans more than 25 years in talent and HR, across staffing, hospitality, global manufacturing and consulting. She spent eight years at Cummins Inc., where she served as Director of Human Resources and led technician hiring pathways, workforce development and cultural engagement across North America. Earlier, she led hospitality talent acquisition at Vail Resorts and founded Hire Alignment, an HR consulting and career coaching practice. Her cross-industry experience informs her practical, diagnostic approach to talent strategy. A graduate of Butler University with a bachelor's degree in English, Susan combines strong communication and listening skills with a commitment to placing the right people into the right work. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking in the Rocky Mountains, reading, watching hockey, and taking Pilates and Zumba classes.
